My character is Karinda who is a mermaid. She lives on a planet where there is only bodies of water. She is the last of the mermaids and she is trying to survive. My plant and vegetable will be seaweed since she eats seaweed because that’s the only thing she’s eating and that’s applied on her earth. My mineral is seashells because seashells are attached to her face. The animal will be a fish because that’s what she spends her time with everyday so she’s not lonely. My 3 techniques will be hidden eyebrows, bruising and the altered form. She's really trying to fight her way thru trouble things that happen everyday, so thats why she's bruised.

            Hey guys I'm posting my Final Project and I'm so glad of how it turned out. The first time we put it on our face it really wasn't the full thing because my latex on my seashells weren't dry. The second time it was dry and I was able to put them on my face. I loved being a mermaid and will try these techniques I've learned throughout the semester again hopefully.

Presentation Day

Look Who's back! Back Again! My Clown!!! Today was Theatre Major for a day and we got to do past projects! This is way different then last time. I applied thicker outlining and shaping and I made the sun bigger.

Picasso

One of my favorite artist I got to recreate. We did It in class but I couldn't put makeup on my face so I watched and I drew out my outlines on my headshot. I painted my face a couple days later and It was difficult trying to figure out figures and the color of the face.

old age

Man I'm old! Hair appliances made up of net, latex and real hair. Used spirit gum to attach it to our face then spirit gum remover to take it off.

Bruises and wounds

By far the best project I've ever done!! We did full face glam first then went in to dry the outline of our bruise on one eye. We went in with yellow, then purple, then dry blood and wet blood around the eye to get that bruise look. Then we made our other eye have an effect of bruising too! We did our latex appliance with cotton balls and I did 3 layers of latex on it before going in with yellow, purple and dry blood. I used the fake blood to make it bloody and to make myself bloody and disgusting.

We did clown makeup on someone else and I did mine on Julia! I mixed red and a lot of white and yellow to make her flesh tone. It was hard because I got different shades each time. Then I did the blue eyebrows and blue nose. She has a blue heart and little blue eyelashes on the corner of her eyes. Then I went into her mouth which is red. After I went in to outline everything in black. Hope you enjoy my work of Art on Julius face!!!:)
