Clowns

Our first project was clowns. We started out by painting 4 each of the Hobo, Auguste and White faced clowns. We researched a lot of different clowns to get a general idea of each feature. This took time to do, but it was very easy to do. For the Auguste and Hobo clowns we had to get the flesh tone by mixing red, yellow and white. For me, I had used very little red and a lot of yellow and and white. Then for the beards on the Hobo's we had to mix blue, yellow, and red to get the brownish color. That was also very time consuming but eventually got done.

We started with our White faced clowns to paint on our face first. First we drew what we wanted a a blank clown then we drew on our face to go the outlines of where everything was gonna go in a light brown brow pencil. The white took a long time to get on my face because it had to be all even and it wouldn't get even. Then I did my eyebrows which was easy and I drew the sun on my face. I used red last because thats the darkest color and I used it for my nose and mouth. After I was all done I outlined everything in black because that makes it pop more. This was very exciting to do because I've never done anything like this before.
